Title II firearms and devices are strictly regulated and controlled by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) under the National Firearm Act (NFA) and the Gun Control Act (GCA) of 1968.
Automatic firearms manufactured after 1968 can only be sold to, and possessed by, approved law enforcement and US government defense agencies.
Law enforcement and government agencies may purchase directly from NARO Firearms. Orders must be on an official department purchase order and be accompanied by a Federal Excise Tax Exemption Certificate. A downloadable PDF of the Exemption Certificate is available here.
Where permitted by state and local law and department policy, orders for Individual officer purchase must be authorized by and shipped to your department, and must be paid in full prior to shipment. Orders must be accompanied by an original signed copy, on official department letterhead, of the "Individual Officer Purchase Statement" letter.
